NOTICE OF CANCELLATION
LINWOOD CITY COUNCIL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Linwood, scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Linwood City Hall,
400 Poplar Avenue, Linwood, NJ 08221, has been CANCELLED.
As a result of this cancellation, the public hearings and final adoption scheduled for
Ordinance No. 2, 2026, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LINWOOD REPEALING
AND REPLACING CHAPTER 78 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE ENTITLED
“AFFORDABLE HOUSING”, AND REPEALING OTHER ORDINANCES HERETOFORE
ADOPTED, THE PROVISIONS OF WHICH ARE INCONSISTENT HEREWITH,” and Ordinance
No. 3, 2026, entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LINWOOD REPEALING AND
REPLACING CHAPTER 124 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE ENTITLED
DEVELOPMENT FEES”, AND REPEALING OTHER ORDINANCES HERETOFORE ADOPTED,
THE PROVISIONS OF WHICH ARE INCONSISTENT HEREWITH,” will not be held on the
above date.
It is anticipated that the public hearings and consideration for final adoption of these
ordinances will be rescheduled for the regular meeting of the governing body to be held on
March 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Linwood City Hall, 400 Poplar Avenue, Linwood, NJ 08221,
or at such other time and place as may be duly noticed.
Formal notice of the rescheduled public hearings will be published in accordance with law.
This Notice of Cancellation is being posted and transmitted to the oƯicial newspapers and
all persons requesting same in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.
