Long Branch Health and Technology Center & Wellness Park

The City of Long Branch is seeking bids for the "Long Branch Health and Technology Center & Wellness Park" project, which involves renovations and additions to existing buildings at 131 Bath Avenue and 307 3rd Avenue. The scope includes new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and roof structures, as well as site improvements like parking lots, pickleball courts, an amphitheater, and landscaping. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for February 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the project site. Bids must be submitted to the Long Branch City Clerk’s Office by March 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The project includes major bid items like Dense Graded Aggregate Base Course, Hot Mix Asphalt, a Tiered Retaining/Seating Wall, Concrete Sidewalk, and an Amphitheater Structure. Bidders must include a certified check or cash (or bid bond) of at least 10% of the bid, along with a Certificate of Experience, Certificate of Equipment, and a Consent of Surety. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price. Plans, Specifications, and Proposal Sheets can be obtained from the Office of the City Engineer for $100.00 per set until 48 hours before the bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract based on available funds.
