prevailing time at the LONG BRANCH CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, located at 344 BROADWAY, LONG BRANCH, NJ 07740 at which time and place the Bid Packets will be publicly unsealed and its contents announced in public for the

The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project generally includes exterior and interior renovations such as roofing, window and siding replacement, exterior painting and door repairs, selective demolition, new interior finishes, upgrades to the building mechanical/HVAC system, electrical modifications and lighting replacement, plumbing fixture replacement, and exterior landscaping improvements, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Bidding Documents. The building will be unoccupied during construction and the Contractor shall include any and all necessary temporary provisions, work sequencing and other contingencies/allowances in its bid to maintain a safe, secure, water-tight and climate-controlled building. All Work of this Contract shall be completed within 180 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed.
The Bidding Documents for the proposed Work are on file, for viewing purposes only, at the City of Long Branch Purchasing Department and may be viewed during normal business hours at no cost at the address listed above. Bidding Documents may be obtained by any prospective bidder upon proper notice and the payment of a non-refundable charge of $350.00 per set from the office of T&M Associates (located at 11 Tindal Rd., Middletown, NJ 07748). A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on
WEDNESDAY,
APRIL 30, 2025, AT 9:30 A.M.
at the Long Branch Free Public Library Elberon Branch, located at 168 Lincoln Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740.
The deadline for receipt of questions is
FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2025, AT 4:00 P.M.
Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for submission of questions.
The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to the Long Branch Purchasing Department at the address listed above. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price shall be supplied in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond, but not in excess of $20,000.00 and must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project are required.
By virtue of Executive Order #34 (
1976
), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Bidding Documents which include all of the following:

and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after opening and the City of Long Branch reserves the right to reject any and all Bids to the extent permitted by law.
