INFORMATION AND COLLECTIONS
2026
RECYCLING
All recyclables must be placed curbside after 6:00 PM
the night before your recycling day.
Mixed paper (newspapers, magazines, junk mail, cardboard,
computer paper, etc.) must be placed in an open container.
Commingled materials (aluminum, tin, plastic, clear and colored
glass bottles) must be placed in an open commingled container.
No plastic bags will be accepted.
REGULAR GARBAGE
The following is considered “regular garbage” and should be placed
curbside after 6 PM the night before your normal collection:
couches, wooden furniture, box springs, and mattresses -
MUST be wrapped in plastic.
No construction material will be accepted!
WEEKLY PICK-UPS
Please call 201-438-5478 for a pick-up of white goods (water
heaters, stoves, washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers,
refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners), electronics and concrete
(bricks, blocks, pavers, stones).
Pick-ups are done every other Friday and must be scheduled by Thursday.

THERE WILL BE NO GARBAGE OR RECYCLING PICK-UPS* ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:
*Garbage or Recycling will be picked up on the following work day*
January 1st -New Year's Day May 25th - Memorial Day July 4th - 4th of July
September 7th - Labor Day November 26th - Thanksgiving Day
December 25th - Christmas Day
GRASS AND BRUSH
Grass clippings must be placed in open containers or biodegradable
bags after 6:00 PM the night before your recycling day.
Brush must be cut into four foot sections, tied and bundled.
The grass/brush pick up begins March 30th and ends December 19th.
LEAVES
All leaves are to be placed curbside in open container or
biodegradable bags, after 6:00PM the night before your
recycling day.
Leaf pick up begins October 5th and ends December 19th.
NO PLASTIC BAGS OR PILES IN THE STREET ACCEPTED
CHRISTMAS TREES
Christmas trees will be picked up on your recycling day
in December and January.
