This document is a summary or synopsis of the 2015 audit report for the Borough of Mount Arlington, as required by N.J.S. 40A:5-7. It presents a combined comparative balance sheet showing assets and liabilities, reserves, and fund balance as of December 31, 2015, and 2014, as well as a comparative statement of operations and change in fund balance for the current fund for the years ended December 31, 2015, and 2014. Recommendations from the audit include maintaining an adequate segregation of duties and reconciling fixed asset inventory records with the appraisal report. A Corrective Action Plan will be prepared and available for public inspection in the office of the Municipal Clerk within 45 days of the notice.
