TELEVISION INSPECTION OF VARIOUS SANITARY SEWERS

The Borough of Mountainside is soliciting sealed bids for "CONTRACT 2026-2 – TELEVISION INSPECTION OF VARIOUS SANITARY SEWERS." This project involves the comprehensive television inspection of various sanitary sewer lines within the Borough. The scope of work for this municipal procurement includes the systematic internal inspection of existing sanitary sewer infrastructure to assess condition, identify defects, and gather crucial data for maintenance and planning purposes. Bidders are expected to adhere strictly to the plans and specifications prepared by the Borough Engineer to ensure thorough and accurate inspections. Prospective contractors can obtain the detailed plans, specifications, and instructions to bidders from the office of the Borough Engineer at M. Disko Associates, located at 151 Sumner Avenue, 2nd floor, Kenilworth, N. J 07033, during normal business hours (8:30am – 5pm). These documents will be made available starting Thursday, June 4, 2026, upon proper notice and a non-refundable payment of Seventy-Five dollars ($75.00) per contract, payable via check to M. Disko Associates, covering reproduction costs. Bidders are also required to comply with the statutory requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq. and NJAC 17:27, pertaining to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action regulations in public contracts. Bids must be submitted on the official Borough’s bid form and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed on the outside with "BID PROPOSAL FOR CONTRACT 2026-2 – TELEVISION INSPECTION OF VARIOUS SANITARY SEWERS" along with the bidder's name and address. Submissions must be hand-delivered or sent via certified mail or courier service to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Mountainside, 1385 Route 22, Mountainside, N. J. The deadline for bid submission and public opening is June 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 1385 Route 22, Mountainside, N. J. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, made payable to the Borough of Mountainside as a Proposal Guaranty. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
