Sealed bids must be submitted by U.S. mail, express mail, or in person to the Borough Hall, ATTN: Martha Lopez Borough Clerk, at 1385 US Highway 22 East, Mountainside, New Jersey 07092, no later than Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. EST, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid packets became available starting Friday, January 30, 2026, and can be obtained from the Borough Clerk’s Office during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday) for a non-refundable Plan Fee of $25.00 for a digital PDF copy or $250.00 for a hard copy set, payable by Corporate Check, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order to the Borough of Mountainside. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount or Twenty-Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), whichever is lower, along with a Certificate of Surety.
