ADDENDUM NO. 1
Township of Neptune
Contract Name: Fleet Management and Maintenance of Vehicles and Equipment
Advertised April 6, 2026 due April 28, 2026 at 10 AM
Prospective bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 1 in the space
provided on the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Addenda form included in the bid package
per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23c. 1), 2), & 3)
The following clarifications, changes, additions, deletions or corrections (indicated in RED
on this Addendum No. 1) shall become a part of the bid package for the project named
above and all other conditions shall remain the same. Changes under High Use and Low
Use are in noted in Red. Hours of use were removed, and number of days were changed so
that the numerical and written words match.

2.1.3 EMERGENCY & SAFETY EQUIPMENT, MEDIUM & HEAVY TRUCKS,
SPECIALTY & CONSTRUCTION
The Contractor will perform preventative maintenance inspections on the
medium and heavy trucks, specialty equipment and construction equipment in
the Township fleet. The specific tasks that you will perform at each PM
Inspection for the medium and heavy trucks, specialty equipment and
construction equipment are noted below.
The Contractor will review vehicle history files at the Township of
Neptune and classify all vehicles and pieces of equipment in this category as
either “High Use” or “Low Use” and will present this classification to the
Township Director of Public Works.
High Use vehicles and pieces of equipment will be inspected every
Ninety (90) Days. The specific tasks and servicing to be performed during
the PM Inspection will be defined by the manufacturer or the Township
Director of Public Works.
Low Use vehicles and pieces of equipment will be inspected every One-
Hundred Eighty (180) Days. The specific tasks and servicing to be performed
during the PM Inspection will be defined by the manufacturer or the Township
Director of Public Works.
The Contractor will provide a semi-annual Safety Inspection and
complete lubrication for all trailers, in Appendix.
* Any exceptions to specifications have to be noted on a separate sheet with
the page number.
