Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement

The Township of Neptune has issued a Notice of Intent to Award three separate contracts under the Sourcewell National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for the acquisition of heavy equipment. These include a 2026 John Deere 544G4WD Loader from Jesco Inc. for $199,790.84, a 2026 Leach 2RIII 29 YD Rear Loader from Sanitation Equipment for $359,510.66, and a 2026 Labrie Automizer 33 CY Right Hand Automated Side Loader, also from Sanitation Equipment, for $443,778.41. The total value for these intended awards amounts to $1,003,079.91. The Township is leveraging its authority under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3) to participate in national cooperative purchasing agreements. The public has an opportunity to comment on these intended awards, with the comment period closing at 4:00 PM on January 23, 2026. The formal intent to award these contracts is scheduled for January 26, 2026.
