Notice of Introduction Ordinance 26-13

The Township of Neptune has introduced Ordinance No. 26-13, which proposes an amendment to Chapter 4-30 of its municipal code. The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a fixed numerical rent increase limit of 3.5% for covered dwelling sites within manufactured home parks, aiming to regulate rental hikes in such communities. The ordinance was initially introduced and passed on its first reading by the Township Committee on March 23, 2026. A public hearing and final consideration for passage are scheduled for April 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Neptune Township Municipal Complex.
