Notice to Bidders - Welsh Farms Park Rebid -

The Township of Neptune is soliciting sealed bids for the "Improvements to Welsh Farms Park Rebid," a significant public works project. The scope of work includes the installation of an ADA-compliant HMA walking path, outdoor game/fitness equipment, a picnic pavilion, various park amenities, perimeter fencing, and extensive landscaping/tree plantings as detailed in the project plans and specifications. Bidders are required to examine these documents, which are available for a non-refundable fee from Leon S. Avakian, Inc., Consulting Engineers. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form and comply with specific Affirmative Action and Ownership Disclosure regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, payable to the Township of Neptune. This deposit serves as a guarantee that the awarded bidder will execute the contract and furnish satisfactory performance and maintenance bonds within ten days. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the deposit as partial satisfaction of liquidated damages. A certificate from a surety company confirming the provision of these bonds is also mandatory. Sealed bids will be publicly opened on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. prevailing time, at the Township Municipal Complex, 25 Neptune Boulevard, Neptune, NJ. The Mayor and Committee reserve the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities, with contract award or rejection occurring within sixty days of bid receipt.
