PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE FOR PARK DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
PURPOSE: Neptune Township is seeking funding through the Monmouth County Park
Improvement Grant Program for “Improvements to Sunshine Village Park Playground”
located at Sunshine Village Park, Neptune, NJ 07753 Block 1807, Lot 2, and;
PROJECT SCOPE: Neptune Township proposes to improve Sunshine Village Park
Playground to enhance safety, accessibility, and recreational opportunities for local families
and children. The project includes the installation of new playground and outdoor exercise
equipment, pour-in-place rubber safety surfacing, and associated site enhancements.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to
learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed
plan on June 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Neptune Municipal
Complex 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 25 Neptune Blvd. Neptune, NJ. The meetings are also
streamed live via townhall streams.
Neptune Police Department Re-Accreditation Assessment Notice
The Neptune Township Police Department is scheduled for an on‐site assessment as
part of its program to be re‐accredited by verifying its continued adherence to recognized
professional best practices.
Administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, the accreditation
program requires agencies to comply with best practice standards in five basic areas: the
administrative function, the personnel function, the operations function, the investigative
function, and the arrestee/detainee function.
Agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (732) 988‐
5200 ext. 463 on Monday, February 24th, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00
a.m.
Comments will be taken by the Assessment Team. Email comments can be sent to the polic

acquire properties between Beverly Way and Highland Avenue in Neptune, New Jersey to
support the future development of a nature walk (see Tax Map here). The Public is
encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask
questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday January 27, 2025, at 7:00

The Township of Neptune hereby requests sealed proposals for the lease of one billboard, with a licensed/deed restricted interest
by the Township of Neptune (“Subject Site”) for a period of ten (10) years, for the purpose of operating, servicing and
maintaining one (1) outdoor static advertising sign, including supporting structures, illumination facilities and connections, back-
up panels, service ladders and other appurtenances and ancillary equipment (the “Sign Structure”).
Bid proposals will be received by the Township of Neptune, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township, New Jersey 07753 on or
before April 11, 2024 at 10:00AM prevailing time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No
proposals will be accepted after said hour. The Lease will allow for the operating, servicing and maintaining of the Sign
Structure as detailed in the Specifications and Lease Documents. Copies of the Specification and Lease Documents may be
obtained between the hours of 8:00 and 4 pm daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays at the office of the Township of
Neptune, Township Clerk, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township, New Jerey 07753 or by e-mail request
at clerk@neptunetownship.org.
Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made a part of the Lease Documents.
Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope and be mailed or delivered to the Township Clerk of the Township of Neptune, 25
Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township New Jersey 07753, with the Proposal description and the name and address of the Bidder
marked clearly on the outside of the envelope.
The Township of Neptune reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in
the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is the best interest of the township of Neptune.
