Financial Advisor

The Borough of New Providence is seeking Qualification Statements from qualified firms for the provision of financial advisory services for calendar year 2026. The Borough intends to qualify firms with the professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to assist with consultations, analysis of proposed capital projects, credit rating maintenance, debt issuance, and bond arbitrage calculations. Respondents must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing the specific services described in the RFQ and be capable of providing services by May 1, 2026. Interested parties must submit a Qualification Statement that includes details of their experience, understanding of the Borough's needs, a cost proposal, and required documentation such as a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Owner Disclosure Information, Business Registration Certification, and Disclosure Statement. An original and one copy of the Qualification Statements, along with a PDF version, must be delivered to the Borough Clerk by the submission deadline. The Borough reserves the right to not select any of the proposals or terminate the procurement process. The RFQ process commences with the issuance of this RFQ. It is anticipated that certain Qualified Respondents will be selected to begin providing services to the BOROUGH as soon as May 1, 2026. There can be no assurance, however, that any Qualified Respondent will be selected.
