The Borough of New Providence is actively soliciting proposals from qualified persons and/or firms for the provision of essential bus transportation services to support its diverse recreation programs for the upcoming calendar years 2027 and 2028. This comprehensive project requires contractors to supply coach buses that comfortably accommodate 45 passengers, equipped with modern amenities including air-conditioning, a restroom, and a TV/DVD player. The scope of work encompasses providing transportation for various full-day or partial-day trips, all originating from 360 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974. The contractor must rigorously adhere to all current regulations, executive orders, and laws pertaining to cleaning and sanitizing protocols, especially those related to public health situations like Covid-19, throughout the contract term. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to identify and engage firms demonstrating the requisite professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to deliver reliable and safe transportation services. Prospective contractors are required to demonstrate substantial and satisfactory experience in providing the specific types of services outlined in this RFP. The submission must include a detailed narrative of the Respondent's overall experience, along with comprehensive information on the education, qualifications, experience, and training of all personnel designated to provide services. Furthermore, applicants must provide a listing of all similar engagements performed within the past five years, complete with contact information for reference verification. Mandatory submission documents also include an immediate relative disclosure, an Affirmative Action Statement, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Owner Disclosure Information form, a Disclosure Statement, a Business Registration Certification, a W-9 form, a Business Entity Disclosure Certification, and a disclosure concerning Prohibited Activities in Russia-Belarus and Iran. Proposals will be rigorously evaluated based on the relevance and extent of qualifications, personnel experience and reputation, knowledge of the Borough, and the reasonableness of the financial proposal.
