Request For Qualifications For The Provision Of Professional Planning Services

The Borough of New Providence is seeking Qualification Statements from interested parties for professional planning services for the calendar year 2026, with potential one-year extensions through 2028. The selected firm will provide consultations and advice to the Borough Council, Planning Board, and Board of Adjustment, assist in preparing zoning ordinances and the Master Plan, and provide expert testimony as needed. Submission requirements include demonstrating a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Professional Planner and the RFQ includes items such as experience, professional qualifications and training of staff, understanding of Borough needs, and references. A cost proposal is also required, detailing attendance at meetings and hourly rates for all firm members. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on March 10, 2026.
