Solid Waste And Garden Waste Collection Contract (Pdf)

The Borough of New Providence is soliciting sealed bids for a Solid Waste and Garden Waste Collection Contract. Bids must be submitted via overnight delivery, certified or registered mail, or in person at the Borough Clerk's Office, located at 360 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence, New Jersey. All bids must be presented in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Solid Waste And Garden Waste Collection Contract.” The deadline for submission is April 8, 2025, at 10:00 am. Specifications and bid forms can be obtained at the Borough Clerk’s Office between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The bid security shall be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid or twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000.00), whichever is lower. The Borough reserves the right to require prospective bidders to submit a complete financial and experience statement showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the required nature before awarding the Contract. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with Affirmative Action requirements, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Anti-Kickback Regulations, Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act, and Anti-Drug/Alcohol plan.
