Laboratory Services and Water Testing

This municipal Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines a requirement for comprehensive laboratory services and critical water testing. The scope of work encompasses a wide range of analytical services essential for ensuring public health and environmental compliance, specifically focusing on potable water, wastewater, and stormwater samples. Services required include, but are not limited to, microbiological analyses for coliform bacteria, chemical parameter testing for contaminants such as heavy metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), nutrients, and pH, as well as radiological analyses. The selected contractor will be responsible for sample collection protocols, stringent chain-of-custody procedures, accurate data analysis, and timely reporting to meet all state and federal regulatory requirements, including those mandated by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and the Clean Water Act (CWA). This extensive project aims to establish a reliable, long-term partnership with a highly capable laboratory to safeguard the community's water resources and maintain regulatory compliance for a hypothetical municipality.
