MAY 9th – Ocean City Schools Art Showcase See artwork on display from local Ocean City School District

MAY 17th – Chica De Mayo Join the fun for an all girls Chica De Mayo skate park party at the Ocean City Skate

MAY 22nd - Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge Participants dress in business suits, carry 
brief cases and march into the ocean to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance to welcome the new season. Noon,

MAY 23rd - Memorial Beach Challenge for 31 Heroes The main obstacle course challenge is a soft sand

MAY 25th - Memorial Day Service 11:00 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, between 5th Street and 6th Street 
on Wesley Avenue.  
MAY 25th - National Moment of Remembrance established by Congress asks Americans, wherever they are 
at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The moment of 
remembrance will take place on the Boardwalk. 
JUNE 3rd – Farmers Market - Tabernacle Grounds 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Crafters in the street at 6th & Asbury 
Ave.  
JUNE 5th, 6th & 7th - Ocean City Flower Show See beautiful commercial, amateur and children’s displays at 
the Music Pier. Show times are Friday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
JUNE 7th – Ocean City PBA Local 61 Fishing Tournament The Ocean City Police Benevolent Association 
(PBA) Local 61 will sponsor a new fishing tournament on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and any team of up to four 
anglers is invited to participate. The event will include cash prizes, and be followed by a weigh-in and barbecue

JUNE 10th – Farmers Market - Tabernacle Grounds 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Crafters in the street at 6th &

JUNE 13th - OCNJ Emergency Responder 5K The 5K and 1 Mile Events will start on the boardwalk and

JUNE 13th- Shootout For Soldiers Ocean City welcomes Shootout for Soldiers into town for an All-Day 
Lacrosse Festival! This event focuses on our Nation's veterans, using lacrosse as a vehicle to support those who 
have given everything to its country's citizens. Join us as a participant or a spectator in an event that is sure to

JUNE 14th- Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo The event features health food, fitness classes, speakers, 
vendors and more. All are invited to this free event in a town that features the beach, boardwalk and a wide 
variety of other indoor and outdoor health and recreational facilities.  Come explore health food and wellness

JUNE 17th – Miss New Jersey Parade See the contestants in the 2026 Miss New Jersey Competition in a 
parade on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Parade starts at 7 p.m. 
JUNE 18th, 19th and 20th – Miss New Jersey Competition: The annual Miss New Jersey Competition 
returns to the Ocean City Music Pier for 2026. Preliminary rounds are at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday (June 18 and 
19), and the final competition and crowning are 8 p.m. June 20. The winner represents New Jersey in the Miss 
America Competition. Save the date and check back for details on tickets. 
JUNE 20th – Miss New Jersey’s Teen Competition: The annual Miss New Jersey’s Teen Competition returns 
to the Ocean City Music Pier for 2026. The final competition and crowning are 1 p.m. June 20. Save the date and

JUNE 28th – Brandon Tomasello: One Man Rat Pack with The OC POPS The Ocean City Pops kicks off 
their 2026 season with class, comedy, and flair! The Rat Pack comes to musical life on the Music Pier stage as 
Ocean City favorite Brandon Tomasello expertly presents the timeless and unmistakable sounds of the Sinatra 
era. Come hear the best of Frank, Dean, and Sammy as Tomasello sings and swings with the Pops! 7:30 p.m. at

America 250: Lights Over Ocean City Drone Show Ocean City will celebrate the 250th anniversary 
of our nation this summer with a weekly patriotic drone show over the beach and boardwalk; south of 
Sixth Street.  The show will feature hundreds of drones lighting up the sky and creating animations that 
salute America. The 15-minute shows will be held after dusk on seven Monday from July 6 through 
August 17.  The weekly event is made possible through a $25,000 grant from the Cape May County 
Board of Commissioners, sponsorships from Boardwalk merchants and city funding.

JULY 1st - Freckle Contest Registration is free and begins at 5:30pm in front of the Music Pier. Contest starts

JULY 2nd - Sand Sculpting Contest Open to kids, teens, adults and families! Registration is free and begins at 
9:00 a.m. at the 6th St. Beach. Judging takes place by 11:00 a.m.  
JULY 2nd - Ocean City Pops FREE Patriotic Drone Show and Outdoor Concert The Ocean City Pops will 
perform a free outdoor concert at 8:00 p.m. followed by a dazzling patriotic drone show presented by the Friends 
of the POPs organization above the beach and boardwalk.  Carey Stadium, 6th & Boardwalk. Our legendary local 
orchestra will perform patriotic classics and audience favorites in honor of our nation’s birthday. Bring a beach 
chair or blanket to sit on the field, and there will be seating available in the bleachers.   
JULY 3rd – Phantom, Evita, and More: The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber This outdoor show at Carey 
Stadium will be performed by the Vince League, a superstar band led by Pops Maestro Vince Lee.  Hear some of 
the biggest hits from shows such as “Phantom of the Opera,” “Cats,” “Evita,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and much 
more. This show is outdoors with seating on the field and bleachers. Bring a beach chair or towel to sit on field.

of the 1940's along with the tunes of Joni James, Frank Sinatra, Jo Stafford, Nat King Cole, (just to name a few) 
and the vocal harmonies of Tom Petillo, Jimmy Spinelli and Shawn Stevens put them together, you have the sound 
of THE DUPREES.  After an evening with THE DUPREES, you'll discover why their harmonies and hits are as

JULY 10th – Joe Stefano and his Jazz Ensemble Band Local resident and Navy veteran Joe Stefano and his 
pop and jazz ensemble will perform a free concert for veterans and guests at 7:00 p.m. at the Music Pier. The 
group will perform classical, jazz, big band and Broadway hits. No advance registration is required for the public 
to attend this free show. 
JULY 12th – 46th Annual T. John Carey Master’s Swim The Masters Swim has been one of the premier open-
water swimming events on the Jersey Shore since 1979. The one-mile ocean race follows a point-to-point course 
that runs parallel to the beach. The 2026 race will have an evening start time with a finish at 12th Street. For more

JULY 12th – Ocean City Theater Company All-Stars Performing with the OC POPs Join Maestro Vince 
Lee as some of the biggest talents from the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company perform Broadway's biggest

JULY 13th – TUSK: The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Ocean City

JULY 14th – OCBP Women’s Lifeguard Invitational Races at 58th St. beach, 6:30 p.m. Women lifeguards 
representing the 15 beach patrols from South Jersey, as well as various other New Jersey patrols, will be

JULY 14th – HOW I BECAME A PIRATE Presented by OCTC Sail off on a fantastic musical excursion when 
a band of comical pirates lands at North Beach looking for an expert digger to join their crew. Braid Beard and 
his mates enlist young Jeremy Jacob as they look for the perfect spot to bury their treasure. Jeremy learns that 
adventuring can be lots of fun, but love and home are treasures you can't find on any map! The whole family will

The Jersey Tenors, the newest opera/rock mash-up sensation. The group creates an explosive blend of iconic

JULY 25th – 71st Annual Night in Venice Celebration The City’s annual boat parade is one of the largest in

JULY 26th – Feelin' Groovy Hits of the '60s This show will be performed by the Vince League, a superstar

JULY 28th – JUNIE B JONES: The Musical Presented by OCTC It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and 
a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the 
bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and 
her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and 
a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting. Featuring a tremendously 
loveable character and fun-filled songs, Junie B. Jones will capture hearts just as the books captivated an entire

inviting shutterbugs and other visitors to tour its pier and clubhouse at 14th St. & Boardwalk. Visitors will also 
be able to make an optional monetary donation or canned goods donation to support the Ocean City Food 
Cupboard. This is one of two days a year when the Pier is open to non-members, weather permitting. Rain date 
July 31st. 
JULY 30th, 31st & AUGUST 1st - The 25th Annual Art of Surfing at the Ocean City Music Pier. It is a free family 
event featuring original art from surfing's biggest names, live music, and a chance to meet artists from across the 
country.

to the musical stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series 
that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs is making a small-screen comeback. 
Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of 
teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge

will drive onto the Boardwalk at 5th Street and proceed southbound to 14th Street.  For everyone’s safety, 
bicyclists are not permitted on the Boardwalk during the event.  The Music Pier will be host to various tech sessions

OCTOBER 24th & 25th - Dog Days Leashed dogs will be permitted on the boardwalk from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00

canine friend. Activities for Saturday include dog-specific vendors along the boardwalk, photo-op stations on the

OCTOBER 24th - HSOC “Howl-O-Ween” Parade Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City. Contestants
