Now in its 16th year, this community favorite supports local Alzheimer’s and dementia programs, caregiver services, and enriching activities for older adults across Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties. MAY 25th - National Moment of Remembrance established by Congress asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The moment of remembrance will take place on the Boardwalk. The group will perform classical, jazz, big band and Broadway hits. No advance registration is required for the public to attend this free show. JULY 12th – 46th Annual T. John Carey Master’s Swim The Masters Swim has been one of the premier open-water swimming events on the Jersey Shore since 1979. The one-mile ocean race follows a point- to-point course that runs parallel to the beach. The 2026 race will have an evening start time with a finish at 12th Street. Jeremy learns that adventuring can be lots of fun, but love and home are treasures you can't find on any map! Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting. Visitors will also be able to make an optional monetary donation or canned goods donation to support the Ocean City Food Cupboard. This is one of two days a year when the Pier is open to non-members, weather permitting. Rain date July 31st. The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs is making a small-screen comeback. Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs as "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction." 10:30 a.m. at the Music Pier. The Ocean City Fishing Club is inviting shutterbugs and other visitors to tour its pier and clubhouse at 14th St. & Boardwalk. Cars will drive onto the Boardwalk at 5th Street and proceed southbound to 14th Street. For everyone’s safety, bicyclists are not permitted on the Boardwalk during the event.
