Variation Application

This document is a municipal application form for requesting a variation from specific subcode requirements. Applicants must clearly state the subcode provisions from which a variation is sought, detailing how compliance would lead to practical difficulties and the nature and extent of these challenges. Additionally, the application requires the proposal of an alternative solution that will still safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of occupants. The application specifies that it will be reviewed within 20 business days of receipt. The determination, whether to grant or deny the request, will be made by various subcode officials and the Construction Official based on N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.9 through 2.13.
