MAY 9th – Ocean City Schools Art Showcase See artwork on display from local Ocean City School District students and meet the artists, Music Pier, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MAY 17th – Chica De Mayo Join the fun for an all girls Chica De Mayo skate park party at the Ocean City Skate Park. MAY 22nd - Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge Participants dress in business suits, carry brief cases and march into the ocean to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance to welcome the new season. Noon, 9th St. Beach. MAY 23rd - Memorial Beach Challenge for 31 Heroes The main obstacle course challenge is a soft sand adventure race followed by our kid’s fun run. Staging at 9th St. beach. MAY 25th - Memorial Day Service 11:00 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, between 5th Street and 6th Street on Wesley Avenue. MAY 25th - National Moment of Remembrance established by Congress asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The moment of remembrance will take place on the Boardwalk. JUNE 3rd – Farmers Market - Tabernacle Grounds 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Crafters in the street at 6th & Asbury Ave. JUNE 5th, 6th & 7th - Ocean City Flower Show See beautiful commercial, amateur and children’s displays at the Music Pier. Show times are Friday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. JUNE 7th – Ocean City PBA Local 61 Fishing Tournament The Ocean City Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 61 will sponsor a new fishing tournament on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and any team of up to four anglers is invited to participate. The event will include cash prizes, and be followed by a weigh-in and barbecue at American Legion Post 524. JUNE 10th – Farmers Market - Tabernacle Grounds 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Crafters in the street at 6th & Asbury Ave. JUNE 13th - OCNJ Emergency Responder 5K The 5K and 1 Mile Events will start on the boardwalk and finish on the OCHS track. The kids events will be on the field. Parade starts at 7 p.m. JUNE 18th, 19th and 20th – Miss New Jersey Competition: The annual Miss New Jersey Competition returns to the Ocean City Music Pier for 2026. Preliminary rounds are at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday (June 18 and 19), and the final competition and crowning are 8 p.m. June 20. The winner represents New Jersey in the Miss America Competition. America 250: Lights Over Ocean City Drone Show Ocean City will celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation this summer with a weekly patriotic drone show over the beach and boardwalk; south of Sixth Street. The show will feature hundreds of drones lighting up the sky and creating animations that salute America. The 15-minute shows will be held after dusk on seven Monday from July 6 through August 17. The weekly event is made possible through a $25,000 grant from the Cape May County Board of Commissioners, sponsorships from Boardwalk merchants and city funding. Judging takes place by 11:00 a.m. JULY 2nd - Ocean City Pops FREE Patriotic Drone Show and Outdoor Concert The Ocean City Pops will perform a free outdoor concert at 8:00 p.m. followed by a dazzling patriotic drone show presented by the Friends of the POPs organization above the beach and boardwalk. Carey Stadium, 6th & Boardwalk. Our legendary local orchestra will perform patriotic classics and audience favorites in honor of our nation’s birthday. JULY 3rd – Phantom, Evita, and More: The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber This outdoor show at Carey Stadium will be performed by the Vince League, a superstar band led by Pops Maestro Vince Lee. John Carey Master’s Swim The Masters Swim has been one of the premier open- water swimming events on the Jersey Shore since 1979. The one-mile ocean race follows a point-to-point course that runs parallel to the beach. The 2026 race will have an evening start time with a finish at 12th Street. The Ocean City Fishing Club is inviting shutterbugs and other visitors to tour its pier and clubhouse at 14th St. & Boardwalk. Visitors will also be able to make an optional monetary donation or canned goods donation to support the Ocean City Food Cupboard. SEPTEMBER 19th - Parachute Pyrotechnic Show consists of several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax™ demonstrators exiting the aircraft 6,000 feet above Ocean City’s Beach & Boardwalk. Brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics are then ignited and flown in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. 8:00 p.m. jump with a landing on the 7th St Beach. Viewable along the entire Boardwalk. SEPTEMBER 20th - Boardwalk Aerobatic Airshow 1:00 p.m., 6th – 14th Streets over the ocean. Thrill to some of the best stunt pilots and aerobatic champions in the world plus military demonstrations. SEPTEMBER 26th & 27th - MS City to Shore Ride with 7,000 cyclists raising $5.6 million – promises to be the best cycling experience on the east coast. Cars will drive onto the Boardwalk at 5th Street and proceed southbound to 14th Street. For everyone’s safety, bicyclists are not permitted on the Boardwalk during the event. OCTOBER 24th & 25th - Dog Days Leashed dogs will be permitted on the boardwalk from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Activities for Saturday include dog-specific vendors along the boardwalk, photo-op stations on the boardwalk, and the Humane Society of Ocean City’s “Pet of the Year” Announcement. OCTOBER 24th – Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweep Volunteers are sought for the Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweep from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 24. Register at cleanoceanaction.org and check in at the Ocean City Music Pier before the event. Bring your own bucket and gloves. OCTOBER 24th - HSOC “Howl-O-Ween” Parade Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City. Contestants are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in zany, fun Halloween costumes in the spirit of the season. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Sports & Civic Center. The parade begins at 3:00 p.m. and the procession is from 6th to 14th Street on the Boardwalk.
