Membership Details:
-
Resident rates apply to members residing in Ocean City. Proof of residency is required (photo ID, annual lease agreement, or property tax
bill).
-
All Family membership types must consist of at least one parent and/or legal guardian with children (26 years old and younger) living in the
same household. No more than two adults (27+) may be included in a Family Membership. Grandparents are eligible to be included as
parent/guardian.

Senior Couple memberships require both individuals to be 60 years of age or older upon purchase.
-
Youth memberships are FREE for children 0-3 years old. Membership applications must be completed in person.

Cycle classes are included in all membership types effective May 1, 2025.

A guest pass may only be purchased when an active member 18+ years of age is present. Only two (2) guests per member. Member must be
present with guest at all times.

Weekly pass does not include guest privileges.

All membership types are nontransferable and may not be altered following the three-day “right to cancel” period.
Age Restrictions:
-
Aquatic Center: Member must be eleven (11) years of age or older to utilize the pool for recreational purposes without parent/guardian
supervision.

Lap Swimming: Member must be fourteen (14) years of age or older to swim in a lap lane.
-
Fitness Center: Member must be thirteen (13) years of age or older to utilize the gym/cardio room.

Group Exercise Classes: Member must be fifteen (15) years of age or older to participate in group exercise classes.
Cancellation Policy:

All memberships may be cancelled within three (3) days of purchase. To cancel within this period, please submit a signed and dated written
notice to the front desk or by email to recreation@ocnj.us. Online cancellations will be completed following an email request to
recreation@ocnj.us .

A full refund will be issued for any amounts paid within ten (10) business days of cancellation.

Memberships may be canceled after the initial three-day window under the following conditions ONLY
o Permanent disability or death (physicians certification required)
o Relocation more than 25 miles from this facility or an affiliated location (proof of new residence required)
