Screening of Equipment or Machinery

This document outlines the City of Ocean City's Ordinance 25-1700.26.1 regarding the screening of equipment or machinery. It mandates that any machinery, motors, generators, or similar devices used for cooling, heating, or generating purposes, if placed outside or on top of a structure, must be screened from public view. Acceptable screening methods include densely planted evergreen shrubs combined with a solid screening element (fence or masonry wall) at least five feet in height, extensions of parapet walls, or any similar solid screening to prevent public exposure.
