North Avenue Streetscape Improvements Project

The City of Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey, Purchasing Division, is soliciting sealed bids for the North Avenue Streetscape Improvements Project. This comprehensive public works initiative encompasses a wide array of enhancements to the urban streetscape, including milling and resurfacing with base course repair, concrete curbing, driveway apron repair, miscellaneous sidewalk repair, and critical stormwater system repairs. Plans, Specifications, and bid forms, prepared by Pennoni Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, became available for inspection and purchase for a non-refundable $25.00 copy fee starting Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the City of Plainfield Purchasing Division. Detailed submission instructions stipulate that proposals must be made on Standard Proposal Forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address and the project name, and addressed to Cynthia Blake, Purchasing Agent, City of Plainfield, Division of Purchasing, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060. Submissions must include an original, two (2) copies, and one (1) USB flash drive of the entire bid package.
