It's Time To Get Your Flu Shot
Everyone ages 6 months and older should get a yearly flu shot. Adults age 65 and older, children younger
than 5, pregnant people, and those with conditions such as kidney disease, asthma, diabetes, and heart
disease are at greater risk for developing serious flu complications. Getting vaccinated helps prevent
severe illness, doctor visits, missed work and school, hospitalization, and death.

In addition to the recommended yearly flu shot, you can help stop the spread of germs:
-Cover coughs and sneezes
-Wash hands frequently
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
-Disinfect commonly touched surfaces
Avoid contact with sick people
-Stay home when you are sick
Fall Mosquito and Tick Prevention
Mosquitoes are active until the temperature stays below 50°F.
Ticks remain active until the first frost of the season and temperatures stay
below freezing (32°F). Protect yourself. Remove standing water on your
property. Cover exposed skin, wear light-colored clothing, and tuck your
pants into your socks. Use insect repellent (follow label directions). These
steps will help reduce your risk of getting sick from diseases caused by
mosquitoes and ticks such as West Nile Virus and Lyme Disease.

Es Hora de Vacunarse Contra la Gripe
Todas las personas mayores de 6 meses deben vacunarse anualmente contra la gripe. Los adultos

Prevención de Mosquitos y Garrapatas en Otoño
Los mosquitos están activos hasta que la temperatura se mantiene por debajo de los
