Authorization of Contracts for Professional Traffic Engineering Services

The Township of Raritan is authorizing the award of contracts for professional traffic engineering services. These services are needed for matters relating to the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment. The contracts are being awarded without competitive bidding, as permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i), for recognized professions regulated by law. Two firms have been selected: McDonough & Rea Associates, Inc. for Traffic Engineer services at $10,000.00, and Colliers Engineering and Design for Conflict Traffic Engineer services, also at $10,000.00. The resolution specifies that the professionals have provided necessary disclosures regarding political contributions. The contracts will be available for public inspection at the Municipal Clerk's office.
