Vendor to Operate & Administer the Raritan Borough River Fest & Duck Race

The Borough of Raritan is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals, partnerships, or corporations to operate and administer the annual Raritan Borough River Fest and Duck Race. This competitive contracting opportunity, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1, seeks a vendor responsible for the comprehensive organization, solicitation of participants, marketing initiatives, and overall administration and oversight of the Event. This work is to be performed in close conjunction with the Raritan Borough Economic Development Committee and the Borough Council. A key financial requirement is that the successful bidder must provide a minimum concession to the Borough of not less than 25% of all net proceeds generated by the Event, coupled with a complete accounting of all monies received and expended. Prospective vendors must demonstrate substantial experience in organizing, administering, and marketing festivals or similar events, showcasing a proven record of success. Applicants should also possess knowledge of Raritan Borough and the specific subject matter addressed by the contract. Required professional information includes the entity's name, principal place of business, contact details (telephone and fax numbers), and comprehensive examples of past successes. Mandatory submission documents include a Business Registration Certificate, an Affirmative Action Compliance Notice, and a detailed Concession Proposal.
