NOTICE TO BIDDERS
RED BANK SENIOR CENTER RENOVATION
BOROUGH OF RED BANK, NEW JERSEY
Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Red Bank, NJ on
April 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM
at the Borough Administrators Office, 90 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, NJ
07701 for the following Contract:
Red Bank Senior Center Renovation at 80 Shrewsbury Ave.
Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of
DMR Architects, 777 Terrace Ave., 6
th
Floor,
Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey 07604
, during business hours. A copy thereof may be procured on/after
March 16, 2022
at the Architect's office for the purpose of bidding. A non-refundable payment in cash or
check to the order of said Architect in the sum of
$100.00
is required. Additional bidding sets can be
purchased for the sum of
$100.00

A
non-mandatory
Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the site (80 Shrewsbury Ave., Red Bank, NJ) on
Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00am.
The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cash, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten
percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. If the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, he will
within two (2) weeks thereafter execute such Contract and furnish satisfactory Performance Bond. Upon
failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be
contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the Bidder. No interest shall be allowed upon any
such certified check or cash.
The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing
Wage
Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and with the requirements of P.L.
1975.C.17 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), Affirmative Action Program.
All bids shall be stated in words and figures on bid forms provided. Bidding shall be in conformance
with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 4011-16, as applied to single overall building contracts.
The Borough of Red Bank NJ reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals to waive any minor
irregularities in any bid proposal if it is considered in the best interest of the Borough to do so. No bid
shall be deemed accepted or a Contract awarded until public adoption of the resolution to that effect by
the Borough of Red Bank, NJ.
Bids may be held by the Borough of Red Bank for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of
opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior
to awarding of the contract, unless said period is extended by mutual consent.
