Main PFAS Treatment Facility

The Village of Ridgewood is soliciting bids for the Main PFAS Treatment Facility project (BID NO. 2025-005TF). The project involves constructing a new PFAS treatment facility with granular activated carbon vessels, a stormwater detention system, chemical feed systems, a pre-engineered metal building, and associated site work. Key requirements include compliance with prevailing wage laws, the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and the Contractor Business Registration Program. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 9, 2025. Questions must be submitted in writing to Michael Mondello by July 14, 2025. Bids must be submitted to the Office of the Village Clerk by August 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM, accompanied by a bid security (bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check) equal to 10% of the total bid amount, not exceeding $20,000. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the accepted bid. The project is partially funded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. A 13% SED utilization goal is required for the project. Bid documents are available electronically for a non-refundable fee of $100.00. No Specifications and/or Proposal forms shall be given out after 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2025. Bidders must also comply with Affirmative Action requirements and Executive Order No. 11246 regarding equal employment opportunity.
