Procurement of GAC Treatment System - Mountain

The Village of Ridgewood, operating through Ridgewood Water, is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the procurement and delivery of a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Adsorption System. This system is intended for the Eastside Reservoir PFAS Treatment Facility, specifically for installation at the Mountain / Sicomac Site located in Wyckoff, NJ. The scope of work includes furnishing and delivering equipment and materials for the GAC adsorption system, comprising lead and lag units, associated piping, valves, and control panels, all in accordance with Village requirements. Bids for this project, designated as BID NO. 2025-006, are to be received and publicly opened on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM prevailing time, in the Courtroom of Village Hall. Prospective bidders can obtain specifications and bid forms electronically by emailing rwbids@ridgewoodnj.net, UNLOCK or by purchasing hard copies in person from Ridgewood Water offices for a non-refundable fee of $100. A bid security of 10% of the total bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, is mandatory. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the accepted bid amount. Compliance with several regulations is required, including the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, Affirmative Action (P.L.1975, C. 127), and Executive Order No.11246 regarding equal employment opportunity. The contract's funding is partially supported by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank.
