Train Station Kiosk Restoration

The Village of Ridgewood is seeking sealed bid proposals for the Eastbound Kiosk 1 Restoration project at the Ridgewood Train Station. The project involves the repair and restoration of the masonry walls for the eastbound kiosk 1 stairwell damaged by a motor vehicle accident, leading to the pedestrian tunnel. Work includes brick and stucco repair with colors to match, as well as concrete repair and other related tasks to complete the project in a manner acceptable to the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office. Bid documents may be obtained from the Division of Engineering for a non-refundable fee of $20.00, and no specifications or proposal forms will be given out after 4:30 p.m. on June 16, 2025. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and the project name endorsed on it. Required submissions include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for $5,000, along with several schedules (A, B, C, D, E, I, and J) on the forms attached to the bid documents. The successful bidder must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and Contractor Business Registration Program. Evidence of satisfactory registrations, a copy of the bidder’s New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, and a copy of the bidder’s Certificate of Employee Information Report must be submitted at the time of the bid. Bids are due by Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Village Hall Level Three Conference Room, 131 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450, where they will be opened and read aloud. The Village of Ridgewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids and no bids may be withdrawn for sixty days (60) after the bid opening.
