Recycling

This document outlines the Borough of Riverdale's comprehensive recycling program. It details various collection opportunities, including weekly curbside pickup for standard recyclables like paper, metal, glass, and plastics, without requiring sorting. Special collections are offered for metal appliances and scrap metal on the first Friday of each month. Additionally, the program facilitates drop-offs for non-standard items such as tires and electronics at the Borough Depot, some of which may incur a fee. The Borough also hosts periodic free paper shredding and collection events for certain non-standard recyclables, and provides a plastic bag drop-off bin at Borough Hall. Hazardous waste disposal is managed through the Morris County Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program.
