October 19, 2022 Garbage Spec Notice to Bidders

The Borough of Ship Bottom is soliciting sealed bids for Solid Waste Collection & Disposal Services and/or Collection & Disposal of Recycling Materials. Bidders can submit proposals for independent contracts for each service or a unified contract for both. The Borough reserves the right to select or reject either option. Key requirements include compliance with relevant New Jersey statutes (P.L. 1975, c.127; P.L. 1977, c.33; and P.L. 1999, c.238, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1, et seq.) and the Public Works Registration Act if applicable. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder's information and the specific service being bid on. The submission deadline is Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., and bids must be received in the Municipal Clerk's Office by this time. Bid documents and specifications are available at the Municipal Clerk's Office and on the Borough's website. Revisions or addenda to the bid documents will be published in the official newspaper and on the municipal website at least five days prior to the bid acceptance date. The Borough of Ship Bottom has sixty (60) days to accept or reject bids. Bidders must keep their bids open for this period and agree not to withdraw or alter their prices. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and contract award will be to the lowest responsible bidder.
