September 13, 2023, Water Tower Lease Notice to Bidders

The Borough of Ship Bottom is seeking bids for the lease of water tank space and a portion of property located at 106 West 17th Street for the installation and operation of a wireless communications facility. The lease will be for a five-year term with three five-year options to renew. The minimum acceptable bid for the first year's rent is $45,000. Bids are due by October 12, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. and must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Bid: Lease of Water Tank Space for Wireless Communications Facility in the Borough of Ship Bottom.” The successful bidder will be responsible for monthly rent payments, any real estate taxes resulting from property improvements, an additional payment of $15,000.00, reimbursement of professional fees during the lease term, and all costs related to utilities. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the highest responsible bidder based on the highest bid amount.
