Purchasing Agreement for Park & Playground Equipment and General Supplies
The City of Somers Point intends to participate in the Bergen County Cooperative for Park & Playground Equipment and General Supplies, Contract Number # BC-BID-24-35, to purchase Park & Playground Equipment and General Supplies for the City of Somers Point.
Information regarding this contract may be found at the City of Somers Point City Clerk’s Office, 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244 Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as through the Bergen County Cooperative website @ www. bergenbids.com
The City anticipates utilizing the Bergen County Cooperative contract on or about 3/12/2026. The current Bergen County Cooperative contract term for Contract Number Contract Number # BC-BID-24-35 is Effective until 10/14/2026.
It is the intent of the City of Somers Point, NJ, Jason Frost, QPA, City Administrator, to make a contract award to Ben Shaffer Recreation as needed and determined in the best interest of the City of Somers Point, NJ and to utilize Bergen County  Cooperative Vendors, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Bergen County  Cooperative National Purchasing Program contract for Park & Playground Equipment and General Supplies.
The City of Somers Point is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S. A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
