Notice to Bidders- JFK Park Improvements

The City of Somers Point, New Jersey, is inviting sealed bids for the JFK Park Improvements project, designated as Contract No. 135. This project encompasses all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete various improvements at JFK Park as detailed in the provided Drawings and Specifications. The work is expected to be completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the contractor's receipt of a written Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit their proposals with a bid security equal to 10% of the total bid amount (not exceeding $20,000 nor less than $500), along with a Certificate of Surety, Ownership Disclosure Statement, and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Compliance with New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration, Business Registration Certificate, and the Prevailing Wage Act is mandatory. Successful bidders will also be required to provide bonds, proof of insurance, and comply with EEO monitoring program reporting. Sealed bids will be received at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, New Jersey 08244, until Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. prevailing time, at which point they will be publicly unsealed.
