2019 Professional Services Request for Qualifications - Borough of South Bound Brook

The Borough of South Bound Brook is soliciting qualifications for a comprehensive range of professional services for the 2019 calendar year, utilizing a fair and open process as mandated by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks experienced and qualified firms to provide critical municipal functions, including but not limited to Municipal Attorney, Labor Attorney, Bond Attorney, Municipal Engineer, Municipal Planner, Planning Board Engineer, Planning Board Attorney, Planning Board Planner, Municipal Auditor, Municipal Prosecutor, Municipal Public Defender, Computer Tech Services, Environmental Attorney, and Redevelopment Attorney. The scope encompasses essential legal, engineering, planning, financial, and technological expertise vital for the efficient operation and development of the borough, ensuring compliance and effective governance. Prospective respondents must demonstrate compliance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17-27. A mandatory requirement is registration under the New Jersey Business Registration Act, with certification to be submitted alongside the response, if available. Firms are expected to possess significant experience and a proven track record in the respective professional service areas for municipal government clients, indicating a deep understanding of public sector needs and regulations. Two (2) copies of the sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) response must be submitted. The sealed submittal package must be clearly marked with the specific RFQ title being submitted and the name of the responding firm. The original proposal must be distinctly marked to differentiate it from the required copy. Responses are to be addressed to the Qualified Purchasing Agent and delivered to the Finance Department, located in the trailer at 12 Main Street, South Bound Brook, N.J. The absolute deadline for receiving all responses is Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 3:00 p.m., with only timely submissions being considered.
