The Borough of Spring Lake Heights adopted Ordinance No. 2026-01 to exceed municipal appropriation limits and establish a cap bank for the 2026 calendar year. This ordinance permits an increase of up to 3.5% over the previous year's final appropriations, amounting to $247,759.09, to promote the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens. The ordinance also allows for any unappropriated amount to be retained as an exception to final appropriation in either of the next two succeeding years.
