BID NOTICE
CITY OF SUMMIT
PROJECT:
2025-2026 WALK-IN HARDWARE AND BUILDING SUPPLIES
DEPARTMENT:
Finance Department
Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the City of Summit, Union County, New
Jersey no later than 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in the Council
Chamber, First Floor, City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey for:
2025-2026 WALK-IN HARDWARE AND BUILDING SUPPLIES
in accordance with the specifications and proposal forms for same which may be obtained at the
office of the Purchasing Agent, 2nd floor, City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey
during regular business hours, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
All bids shall be addressed to PURCHASING AGENT, CITY OF SUMMIT, 512 SPRINGFIELD
AVENUE, SUMMIT, NJ 07901. Bids, along with bid securities, must be enclosed in a properly
SEALED envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder and the NATURE OF THE BID
CONTAINED THEREIN.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of any and all applicable Federal, State and
local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2
(Statement of Ownership Disclosure); N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
(Affirmative Action); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), and the City’s adopted minimum
standard insurance requirements.
The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects,
and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law,
N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.
No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official advertising unaccompanied by
such statement of price.
