Bid Notice - Butler Parkway Improvement Project - Receipt of Bids via Zoom - 01/26/21

The City of Summit is seeking sealed bids for the Butler Parkway Improvement Project. Bids must be submitted virtually via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in lieu of in-person submission at City Hall. The project involves granite curb installation (3,700 LF), hot mix asphalt surface course (2,000 tons), and optional concrete sidewalk construction (1,650 SY). Bids are to be submitted to the Purchasing Agent, City of Summit, and must include a bid security of 10% of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000. The submission deadline is January 26, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time. The project specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Department of Community Services. The Common Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All work must be completed by August 15, 2021.
