Request for Proposals- Municipal Auditor Services due 10-15-25

The City of Summit is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or organizations to provide Municipal Auditor Services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks an entity capable of delivering high-quality professional services, including annual statutory audits for various funds, preparation of the Annual Financial Statement and Annual Budget using the FAST system, and Secondary Market Disclosure. The selected firm must demonstrate strong professional, financial, and administrative capabilities. The contract term for these services is anticipated to run from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, with the City retaining an option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms. This procurement is for professional services and is not subject to the bidding provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law. Proposals must be submitted as hard copies (an original and one copy) to the City Administrator by the deadline of October 15, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
