REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NOTICE
CITY OF SUMMIT
PROJECT:
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICES
DEPARTMENT:
Administration
Sealed proposals, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et seq. will be received by the
Purchasing Agent of the City of Summit, Union County, New Jersey no later than 11:00
A.M. prevailing time, April 10, 2025 in the Council Chamber, First Floor, City Hall, 512
Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey for:
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICES
in accordance with the Request for Proposal forms for same which may be obtained at
the office of the Administration, Second Floor, City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit,
New Jersey Summit, N. J. during regular business hours, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday –
Friday. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et seq., the Administration department intends to
solicit proposals from vendors for the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICES.
Sealed proposals shall be addressed to PURCHASING AGENT, CITY OF SUMMIT, 512
SPRINGFIELD AVENUE, SUMMIT, NJ 07901. Proposals must be enclosed in a
properly SEALED envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Responder and the
NATURE OF THE PROPOSAL CONTAINED THEREIN.
Vendors shall comply with the provisions of any and all applicable Federal, State and
local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2
(Statement of Ownership Disclosure); N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27
(Affirmative Action); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), and the City’s adopted
minimum standard insurance requirements.
The Common Council reserves the right to reject all proposals, waive any minor defects,
and consider proposals for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public
Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.
No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official advertising
unaccompanied by such statement of price.

Will there be any scheduled meetings or site visits? Or can we schedule a site visit if
necessary?
No. We cannot accommodate any site visits as it may be a cybersecurity risk.
