RFP - Police Department 2026 Information Technology Services - Responses due 1-8-26

The City of Summit Police Department is seeking proposals for information technology services to commence around February 1, 2026. The required services encompass managed support for equipment and applications, including virtual hosts, servers, security, email (Microsoft 365 Govt), backup, LAN switches, workstations, and police MDTs. Additional requirements include offsite backup annual subscription, Duo Security annual subscription, SonicWall advanced security annual subscription, Malwarebytes Detection and Response annual subscription, and Adobe Acrobat Standard annual subscriptions. Proposals are due by January 8, 2026 and should be submitted to Chief Ryan Peters at the Summit Police Department. The contract award will be for an initial one-year term, with the possibility of up to four one-year extensions. Proposals will be evaluated based on the ability to provide the required services, cost, and experience within the public sector. Responding consultants are advised to avoid contact with municipal officials or governing body members until a final award is made to avoid automatic disqualification.
