RFQ - Planning Board 2024 Professionals - Responses due 11-21-23

The City of Summit Planning Board is seeking Qualification Statements from firms or organizations to provide Engineering, Planning, and Attorney services for the board in 2024. This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), not a Request for Proposals (RFP). Interested parties must demonstrate their capability and willingness to provide high-quality services and agree to work under compensation terms determined by the Board. The selection of qualified respondents is not subject to the bidding provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, but is subject to the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law. Firms must submit their Qualification Statements by 4:00 p.m. on November 21, 2023. The RFQ process involves submitting Qualification Statements which will be evaluated based on professional, administrative, and financial criteria. The Board will review the statements and determine which respondents are qualified. All communications regarding the RFQ should be directed to the designated contact person, Stephanie Soulios. The Board reserves the right to amend, modify, or alter the procurement schedule. There is no guarantee of work or compensation upon appointment to the position of Board Engineer, Planner or Attorney.
