RFS - City Forester 2022 - Responses due 11-18-21

The City of Summit is seeking proposals for a City Forester to provide services from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. The City Forester will be responsible for inspecting and assessing trees, writing and enforcing tree specifications, applying for tree-related grants, writing Community Forestry Management Plans, coordinating with the Division of Public Works, enforcing tree ordinances, reviewing landscaping plans, prioritizing service requests, recommending equipment purchases, selecting nursery stock, participating in Arbor Day observances, and overseeing tree removal permits. Proposals, including a resume and rate information, were due to the DCS Director in the Department of Community Services by 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
