RFS - City Forester 2024 - Responses Due 11-17-2023

The City of Summit is seeking proposals for a City Forester to provide services throughout 2024. Key qualifications include a B.S. Degree in Forestry or a related field and NJ Certified Tree Expert certification. The City Forester will be responsible for inspecting and assessing trees, writing and enforcing tree-related specifications, applying for grants, and coordinating with the Division of Public Works. Proposals must be submitted to the DCS Director, in the Department of Community Services at 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey 07901 or via email (summitdcs@cityofsummit.org) UNLOCK by November 17, 2023, at 4:00 PM. The contract term is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
