Drainage Improvements to Tiger Drive

Tewksbury Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, is soliciting sealed bids for comprehensive Drainage Improvements to Tiger Drive. This critical public works project involves extensive roadway reconstruction, including 1,665 square yards (SY) of 6-inch depth milling, the application of 395 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) 19M64 Base Course, and 195 tons of HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course. The drainage component encompasses the installation of 52 linear feet (LF) of asphalt curb, the modification and reconstruction of three existing inlets, the addition of two new Type E inlets, and the placement of 260 LF of 15-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP). Further detailed work includes sawcutting existing inlets to enlarge weir openings and install new RCP connections, as well as installing asphalt 'bowls' behind existing inlets to optimize stormwater direction. Additional earthwork and paving components consist of 6 cubic yards (CY) of unclassified excavation, 6 tons of HMA 12.5M64 Intermediate Course, and 21 SY of Dense Graded Aggregate, all funded through the Township of Tewksbury Capital.
