Annual Audit Report

This document is an audit report for the City of Union City, New Jersey, covering the year ended December 31, 2024, and the six-month transition year ended December 31, 2023. The audit includes financial statements for various funds (Current, Federal and State Grants, General Capital, and Trust) and the Statement of General Fixed Assets, prepared on a regulatory basis as prescribed by the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services, rather than Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The report provides opinions on the fairness of the presentation of these financial statements on the regulatory basis. It also addresses internal control over financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, and compliance with requirements for major federal and state programs. The audit was conducted by Donohue Gironda Doria Tomkins LLC, Certified Public Accountants, with the report issued on June 16, 2025.
