NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that separate sealed bids will be received by the Township
Committee of the Township of Wall, Monmouth County, New Jersey for Police Department
Uniforms, as more particularly described in the Bid Specifications and Bid Proposal Forms. All bids
may be mailed or delivered to the Township Clerk, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall, New Jersey 07719. Bids will
be opened and read in public at the Wall Township Municipal Building, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall
Township, New Jersey, on June 25, 2020 at 2:30 pm. No bids will be received after the specified time
and date.
Interested bidders may request a copy of the request for proposal (RFP) via email
clerk@townshipofwall.com or phone 732-449-8444 Ext. 2200.
Bid specifications for the aforesaid contracts are on file in the Township Clerk’s Office,
Municipal Building, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall, New Jersey, 07719, and copies thereof and of the form of
proposal may be obtained during regular business hours by prospective bidders upon application to the
Township Clerk. Prospective bidders that wish to have the bid specifications shipped to them must
arrange the payment and scheduling of pick-up. The Township suggests prospective bidders use FedEx
since UPS does not have a pick-up option and the Township does not have a courier.
Bids must be made on the standard proposal form(s) in the manner designated therein and
required by the Specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address
of the bidder and clearly labeled “Police Department Uniforms” on the outside of the envelope.
All envelopes shall be addressed to the Township Clerk of the Township of Wall, at 2700 Allaire Road,
Wall Township, NJ 07719.
The Township Committee of the Township of Wall reserves the right to reject all bids where the
lowest bid is not accepted. The Township further reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding
and the right to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Township to do so, and
reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60)
days before making an award of contract and each bidder agrees that he will not withdraw his bid for
that period of time.
If bids for more than one publicly bid project are received at the same date and time, the
Township shall designate the sequencing of the bid openings at its discretion.
Bidder is required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including P.L. 1975, C.127
(Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration) and P.L. 1963, C. 150
(Prevailing Wages).
Bidder is required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.JAC. 17:27.
Bidder is advised of the responsibility to comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A- 20.13.
Bidder is required to submit with its bid a valid Business Registration Certificate issued by the
State of New Jersey. (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44).
