NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received, by the Township of Wall, Monmouth County,
New Jersey for NJDOT Municipal Aid Road Program - Improvements to Ramshorn Drive Phase V, and
opened and read in public at the Wall Township Municipal Building, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall, New Jersey on
February 15, 2019 at 10:00 am prevailing time.
Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed work, prepared by Matthew Cofone, PE of the firm of French
and Parrello Associates, Consulting Engineers, 1800 Route 34, Wall, New Jersey 07719, are on file in the
office of the Engineer and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours.
Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the contract documents and plans by the Engineer upon proper notice
and payment of a non-refundable charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) to defray the cost thereof.
Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents,
must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on
the outside, addressed to the Township Clerk and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract
Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a
Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security)
for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements
of:
• N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33, Disclosure of Ownership)
• N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (P.L. 2004, c. 57, Business Registration)
• N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.25, et seq. (P.L. 1963, c. 150, Prevailing Wages)
• N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.48 (Public Works Contractor Registration)
The contract shall not be approved until a favorable eligibility determination has been made by the New Jersey
Department of Transportation.
